Control Magnetism by Electricity

The Modern Hard drive or Hard Disk is storing the data and the information by magnetism and the diaphragm and also its other objects in connection with magnetic field. This will become more data storing and also the energy efficient when the magnetism is control by the electric field and we will be able to store more and more information of our in the Hard Drive or Hard Disk.

The New researches and experiments at the University of Arizona, Tucson of the Group called Weigang Wang is going on for it to control the magnetism by electric field i-e controlling the properties of the thin cobalt film at the normal temperature (room temperature).And this results  show that the small and a very little voltage applied can change the magnetic field of the material.

The last experiments and the researches shows that the effect was very small and also it disappear as the field os turn off by putting its switch off. But this time, they have really got the very large effect, which includes the oxygen ions to migrate this effect with the help of an oxide layers present there and in this way we can change the oxidation state of the thin film i-e cobalt film.

so, using the electric field for controlling the magnetism, we will be able in future to store more and more data on the Hard disk or Hard Drive. And its very useful way to control magnetism and to get large effect.
