The
mass of earth is determined by using law of gravitation.
Consider
a body of mass m is place on the
surface of earth where M is the mass
of earth. The distance b/w the centres of the body and the earth are R which is equal to the radius of
earth. As every body placed on earth is v very small as compared to earth. So
it radius (distance) is neglected.

Since the
density is defined as the mass per unit
volume is called density.
